The First Year Initiative serves to introduce students to the Career Development Office and legal employment searching, describe programs, and highlight important deadlines.

Each section has an assigned career counselor who will be with the students from that section throughout all three (or four) years of law school. The first step in conducting a job search is to meet with your career counselor. Get to know your counselor as they are the key to an extraordinary amount of career-related information and events. Schedule appointments by emailing your counselor or stopping by the office.
