The purpose of the International Advisory Council on Advocacy is to provide program development guidance to the BAI. The Council functions as a “finger on the pulse” monitor of developments in the local, national, and international legal landscape – including insights on not only what advocacy skills lawyers need now but what skills they will need in the future. The information provided by the Council is a critical piece of the BAI’s mission of improving the efficacy of the legal profession and justice system and teaching the art of advocacy.
