The Challenge: Increase Annual Giving Participation Rates
The First Challenge addressed by the LF&CC is to increase the number of alumni who give to the Law Center each year. By increasing the Law Center’s giving participation rate provides much need discretionary resources for important initiatives in the absence of substantial endowment funds.
In addition to the monetary and participatory challenges that are address through the program, fostering an active, lasting connection between alumni, their businesses and the Law Center provides a mutually beneficial relationship - The Law Center corps of volunteers grows, and the Law Firms and corporations benefit from hiring truly great candidates from a top urban public law school.
