Welcome Alumni!

The University of Houston Law Alumni Association is a powerful group of supporters who value the excellence of our alma mater. I believe there is a direct relationship between the quality of a school and the involvement of its alumni – and our Law Alumni Association gives our graduates a great way to get involved.

With more than half of our 11,000+ alumni making their homes in the Houston area, it’s understandable that many of our events are scheduled on or near the Law Center campus. But our outreach to alumni doesn’t stop at Beltway 8. We are committed to reaching out to alumni in other cities, states and countries with ambitious slate of new projects, events and initiatives.
It’s easy to check the calendar for upcoming alumni events. Included here (in the left column) is a “Calendar of Events” that can point you toward important dates.

The left column also includes a link for my “President’s Notes,” a monthly update sent via email. If you are NOT receiving emails from the Law Alumni Association, please update your contact information. And if you want to get involved in a way that matches your special interests, click here and fill out one of our sign-up sheets.

I’ll close with repeating an observation from my first President’s Notes: “Working together, I believe we can elevate the UH Law Alumni Association to new heights as we support the excellence of our school.” I truly believe that’s true – and I am looking forward to working with all of you to make it happen.
