UHLC Admissions JD Application Status
Check
The
Law Center Office of Admissions provides the application
status check as a courtesy to applicants of the
JD program. A password and instructions will be
sent to the email address in your application.
If you have applied to the JD program and do not
receive an e-mail with a password within two weeks
of submitting your application, please contact our
office at lawadmissions@uh.edu.
Please be aware that it
may take up to two weeks from the time you submit your application for your
status to be available on the online status check.
Please keep in mind that while application statuses are updated
to the web once per week, your status may
remain the same for several weeks.
There are six possible statuses that are posted: Application
Received, LSDAS Report Received, Hold for later
LSAT, In Review, Decision Mailed and Missing Information.
You will also be able to view the current address that we have in
our database. If you included a “good
until” date the address will be updated on
that particular date. If we have the incorrect
address or e-mail for you, please contact our office
at lawadmissions@uh.edu.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and all decisions
will be mailed by mid-May. It is the policy of the
Admissions Office that decisions are sent by mail
and not released via the internet, phone or fax.
