The Bankruptcy Handbook, written by Law Center clinical professor John Ventura, is designed to explain the legal and financial implications of bankruptcy, as well as its emotional and ethical considerations.  It contains information relating to the entire bankruptcy process, and addresses topics such as how to avoid bankruptcy (or when it is the best choice to make), the difference between Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 forms of bankruptcy, and how to rebuild financially once the bankruptcy process is over.

This guide, co-authored by Law Center clinical professor John Ventura, provides strategies to deal with both secured and unsecured debt, including personal loans, mortgages, credit cards, and student loans.  It provides information in areas such as: how to tell the difference between different types of debt, developing a strategy for spending more wisely, consolidating various sources of debt, and how to responsibly use credit cards.  It also contains strategies about how to avoid problems with debt in the future.
