JUDICIAL ACTIONS
On June 28, 2000, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct issued a public order of additional education to Thurman Bartie, justice of the peace for Precinct 8 in Port Arthur, Jefferson County.
On June 28, 2000, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct issued a public reprimand to H. Lon Harper, 57, of Houston, a former district judge in Harris County.
On June 28, 2000, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct issued a public admonition to Polly Kite, justice of the peace, Precinct 3, Jacksonville, Cherokee County.
On Aug. 21, 2000, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct issued a public reprimand against Nancy Robb, 49, a municipal judge for the City of Grand Prairie.
On Oct. 12, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct suspended Francis Truchard, justice of the peace, Precinct 3, Colombus, Colorado County.
On Sept. 19, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct issued a public reprimand against Annette Galik, 51, judge of the 245th District Court of Harris County.
RESIGNATIONS
Richard Waller Burns, 64, of Houston resigned in lieu of discipline On May 24, 2000.
SUSPENSIONS
David Flores, 50, of Fort Worth accepted a three-year, fully-probated suspension effective Sept. 1, 2000.
Richard Scott Gladden, 39, of Denton received a 12-month, fully-probated suspension effective July 15, 2000.
James Michael Tex, 43, of Cedar Hill accepted a two-year, partially-probated suspension effective July 1, 2000, with the first six months actively served and the remainder probated.
Robert T. Wallace, 60, of Houston received a 12-month, partially-probated suspension effective Sept. 1, 2000, with the first month actively served and the remainder probated.
Robert James Fredericksen, 39, of Dickinson accepted a two-year, fully-probated suspension effective Sept. 1, 2000.
Donald J. Mach, 54, of San Antonio accepted a three-year, partially-probated suspension effective June 1, 2000, with the first year actively served and the remainder probated.
Lauren Kramer, 53, of Houston agreed to a five-year, partially-probated suspension, with the first three years actively served and the remainder probated.
Leslie Deanne Snipes, 38, of Houston received a two-year suspension effective Jan. 1, 2000.
Peter C. Speers, III, 50, of Conroe received a 39-month, partially-probated suspension effective Dec. 11, 1997, with the first 21 months actively served and the remainder probated.

Susan J. Scolaro, 40, of Lubbock received a public reprimand on March 8, 2000.
Robert A. Heard, 38, of Duncanville accepted a public reprimand on July 17, 2000.
