In 1989, Carlos DeLuna was executed in Texas for the murder of Wanda Lopez, his conviction having been based on a single eyewitness identification with no corroborating forensic evidence. Years later, a team of faculty and students at Columbia Law School investigated the case, and found that DeLuna was almost certainly innocent. This new book presents a detailed record of their investigation.
