Index to the Supreme Court of Texas

The Index to the Supreme Court of Texas database documents the activity and opinions of the Supreme Court of Texas, as reported in the Texas Supreme Court Journal and Southwestern Reporter. Its information is updated weekly. The Index includes three tables which aid the researcher in locating information concerning a case of interest:

Table of Cases (an alphabetical listing of all cases currently filed with the Supreme Court of Texas)

Statutes Construed Table (lists all statutes and rules construed in current opinions)

Subsequent History Table (includes a notation indicating that a petition for review, application for writ of error, or original proceeding has been filed with or disposed of by the Court)

Patrons can access the Index of the Supreme Court of Texas database through the library's Web site at http://www.law.uh.edu/libraries/ by selecting "Texas Supreme Court Database" from the drop down menu under legal databases. Please contact the library if you have any questions about any of the library's databases.
